Federals agents this morning raided and detained about 300 people they believe to be illegal aliens working at House of Raeford's Columbia Farms poultry plant in Greenville -- an operation that one immigration official today called the biggest workplace raid ever in the Carolinas.Investigators expected to spend the rest of Tuesday at the plant poring over employment documents and conducting interviews to gather evidence in what U.S. Attorney Walt Wilkins said will be an ongoing investigation into House of Raeford's employment practices.
Several workers began running for the doors as agents raided the processing plant at about 8:50 a.m. this morning as shifts were changing, witnesses said. All told, 450 officers were involved in the raid, though not all actually entered the building, Wilkins said.
The raid marks the biggest move yet in a 10-month federal investigation into hiring practices at the processing plant. In recent weeks, seven supervisors at the plant have pleaded guilty to falsifying employment documents . A human resources manager faces 20 counts of felony immigration fraud.

They know they have violated the law and the are subject to arrest and deportation. So try to evade the authorities (again!). They will make a zillion excuses, try a zillion evasions, try sympathy ploys or anything else to avoid the consequences of their illegal acts. All the more reason to boot them out.

So again I ask where did you get “all illegals run” or is that what you think happens during a raid? See hon I have worked where raids have been conducted, some run because they have a criminal record, some because of fear, some because of being deported but then some stand and wait. For the most part they have nothing to hid or run from other than being here illegally. See hon they know if they are deported, they will also return. The raid and following deportation is a minor nuisance, for others it is the end of their world.

Lord knows this is one hundred percent true, we in the U.S. have arrested and jailed every single American that has broken the law, no matter how big or small the violation was.
