I have really thick hair and im tryna grow it out... It doesn't grow very fast but im still trying. And someone told me coconut oil makes your hair grow really fast... Is that true?? And if it is where do you get it from??

I want pure coconut oil for my skin and cant find it anywhere because i heard it works great. Any suggestions???

I also try to get weekly deep conditioners also. Does pure coconut oil help?

I have coconum oil supplement (extra virgin organic) and it says to take 4-8 softgels a day. They're really big, so does it matter if i cut them in half and eat them in something like applesauce? Like, does it matter if the actual coconut oil is exposed while i'm eating it or if it's in a capsul?

i have just bought virgin coconut oil and I am trying to take it for my hypothyroid. I want to know ho much should I take it? right now, it looks like it upsets my stomach. what are you stories? any help?

A family friend read that taking coconut oil can help you lose weight. I find it hard to believe considering the high amount of sat fat...but who knows? A resource would be appreciated!

Coconut oil is good for the hair and scalp, but depending on how the soap is made it may not be appropriate for the hair. There are several good coconut oil shampoos on the market. But some soaps are made via lye process and shouldn't be used on the hair.

I have tried making the dough very dry but this did not help. I am trying to master a New York style dough! I use a basic recipe flour, salt, sugar, water, oil, yeast. I am in Denver so I also add gluten.

I was there this past weekend and I realized how huge their portions are (and not that I didn't know this before) and how unnecessary it is to feed people a portion that could probably feed a family of four. Another thing I noticed was almost every person dining at the restaurant was either over weight, had a doggy bad in their hand or both.
I cannot imagine a restaurant that focuses on so many vegetable added dishes that they possibly think what they are doing is healthy for Americans. Yes, it is true that we have a choice to dine at this restaurant or not but I believe they have a responsibility as well and I don't remember anyone passing on a large portioned meal (which could easily be leftovers for lunch the next day). It also got me thinking about where the food actually comes from, since the portions are so big, is any of the food actually fresh, how much of it is frozen, how much of the poultry and meat comes from slaughter houses (hopefully none), are any of the fruits and vegetables they use genetically modified and how much pesticides where used on these foods?
Is it just me or do others worry about these issues as well? After this past experienced my boyfriend and i vowed to never go back because I'm just causing more fuel to a possible fire and quite frankly would be the part of the problem and not the solution.

When I tell my friends that I eat Dairy products and egss they freak out and tell me that eating eggs is like eating chicken. I tell them that being a lacto ovo veg. inables me to eat eggs and dairy. They say that its poultry. I try to explain to them but I don't get it either. Am I eating a baby chicken?

I've made pizza dough before, but it was pretty simple cuz I just used a machine that flattened the dough and then I just shaped it out a bit. But for anyone that has worked at a Pizza Pizza b4, how do you flatten the dough? by machine? or by hand?

I love making homemade pizza and don't much care for the packaged mixes for crust. I want to put my bread machine to work so I can always have great dough to work with. Are there any tips on handling, freezing and thawing the dough? Any recipes that work well for this application? Thanks in advance for your answers!

I recently tried Trout for the first time at a restaurant and loved it. I am buying some trout fillets Thursday. I am cooking them on the stove, and I have no idea how long it takes. The fillets look to be about a pound or less, so how long should I cook it for?? How do I know it's done? I do cook swordfish all the time on the stove and grill. Is it similar?
